Bricklayer & General Builder
Structural and aesthetic brickwork across insurance reinstatement and high end residential schemes. From subsidence underpinning rebuilds to garden walls and chimney repairs.
Structural and aesthetic brickwork across a varied job book. You will move between subsidence underpinning rebuilds, openings and lintels, chimney repairs, garden walls and heritage matching work.
What you'll do
- Lay brick and block to specification on reinstatement and refurbishment projects.
- Carry out general building work including footings, lintels, openings and chimney repairs.
- Match historic and conservation brickwork on heritage projects.
- Work alongside structural engineers on subsidence rebuilds and openings.
- Cover wider general builder duties when bricklaying is not the priority.
What we're looking for
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Bricklaying (or equivalent time served).
- Current CSCS card.
- Confident matching mortar mixes and historic bonding patterns.
- UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
